Why should a buyer use Etsy for their buying?

Today is October 24th and I have not posted in more than 2 months on my blog. But, today I decided to do so because I feel this is important. I started selling on Etsy over 5 years ago and it has been an up and down ride for me. Sometimes it has been steady for months. But, this year, Etsy changed some staffing and changed a great deal for the sellers to post their items better and easier. 
I sell vintage, jewelry, hand crafted, and now clothes and purses and scarves. Well, I have decided to add these type of items to sell on Etsy because of the fact that Etsy has done all they can to help us sell. They added 5 more photo spots so the buyer will get a better idea of what they are buying. They added sales and free shipping options for us and it is seen on the pages as you look at an item. They also now offer gift wrapping, and this is an option you can decide on whether you want to do that or not. Yes they made some decisions that bothered me, like losing the treasuries and messing with our stats, but it has not changed anything as far as sales. Now I just use the teams much more than ever before.

 You see Etsy is a personal place to most of us. It is the place we have made some friends and even people like family. So many of us sell because we love it for one and want to offer the best we can to the buyers. We also use Etsy because of the low fees of selling an item. If we have a question either Etsy will answer it or one of our team members. You can post in the forums as well if you are concerned about something and need answers. I will probably sell on Etsy as long as I am able to do so. So buyers need to come and see what we all have and buy buy buy.

Etsy has changed a lot

I have been now on Etsy for 7 years. I have 2 names of course and one name StreetCrossingDesign.etsy.com started in 2012. My second name has been online for 5 years. VickiesVintageroom.etsy.com I have seen so many changes happen in the past 7 years. There has been new leaders who came in and turned Etsy upside down last year. Some for the good, but some for the bad. They are continuously changing things for us all and it gets very frustrating continuously making changes.  I am not making nearly as much as I did in the past and I am not having as many sales. Etsy today, February 21st

Well, I am sorry I have not posted on here for a while. I have been trying to adjust to the new changes that Etsy has once again made. This time to the teams and forums. I have not been posting as much due to the fact that they take out the money immediately as soon as a sale comes in. If you owe more than you get on a sale, then you have your entire sale swiped from you. The Teams are no longer letting you show the item that you post of pictures. So you now have to click on each item individually to favor or heart that item. Oh well, you have to roll with the changes they make if you want to sell on Etsy. Life is how it is.  My shops are doing okay, not as good as last year at this time, but I will work at improving them starting today. Etsy Shop changes coming up, hints for helping with new shops

Just when I got used to the last changes to the Etsy shop. Now they are changing things again. I guess they are making it easier for the customers to see everything there is about every customer before they buy. Just the editing of the shop and the items I have already there, will be much more frustrating. If I want to move something from page 5 to page 1, I do not see a way to do this anymore. It only took me almost 4 years, but hey, I did it. I do not sell things that are always being looked for. I sell things that are hard to find most of the time. I try to sell things that I had once sold in the past if I find another also. One of the biggest things that I noticed that is important to do in selling on Etsy--> Those tags and titles . Tags have to be there and are important. I try to do all but 1 or 2.
